I love them too, except for when (and this is rare, but important) there's no way out of the loop. Then it's just too damn "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream".

I'm torn on this. The concept is interesting but it can get incredibly frustrating after a while if it drags on too long. (I'm a bit damaged from back in the day when they decided to actually play this straight with the Suzumiya Haruhi anime. It was first grade trolling, but damn...)

I mean it can be annoying but not terrible if you're binging it after it finished airing but waiting a week for a new episode only for each episode to be roughly the same for 8 weeks straight was... a special experience.

(Then again, "Kyon-kun, denwaaaaaa" only reaches its maximum annoyance level when binged, I guess. )

I'm still torn between respect and loathing for that move. Even from the stance of someone getting to binge after the fact, skipping through the bulk of the repetition.

Looking back, I think I am in a bit of awe that they actually had the guts to pull it off, to be honest. At the time, I was definitely not looking at it in a very favourable light haha!

Ahhhhh, I love them too! I've been trying to write one for the past month and I keep frustrating myself. I'm like, "I don't want to write this part, I'll come back to it later," and then I come back to it and I still don't want to write it. Aaaand I just realized I trapped myself in my own time loop. My god.

I’ve tried getting into the Infinite Loops, but it’s way too damn huge and I have no idea where to start. (Also, the founder was apparently a creep, but almost every shared fandom universe I know of was either founded by or taken over by a creep.)

I like them too, although they can get a bit repetitive if the author insist on writing again and again about every single detail past the third or fourth loop at the most. Once the character realizes they are in a time loop, it's okay to focus the narrative just on the things that actually change from loop to loop.
