What's everyone doing?

I spent 5 hours at work. Around that, I've been obsessing over Flight Rising again, and in particular about making a collection of MCU dragons. Right now, of the ones I want, I'm missing Steve, Bucky, Drax, Bruce, and Thanos.

And, because I'm weird, I'm planning on having red white and blue Steve and then get a red white and blue Superman to pair with him. The idea makes me smile.

Meetings. Just a lot of meetings.

Ick. I'm sorry. Unless they were good meetings. But my general experience is there is rarely such a thing as a good meeting.

Boring and long. Eight hour day with five hours of meetings.

Ick. Sorry. Hope you're evening is better and that tomorrow has less meetings.

Not too bad. Worked around 6 hours, then went to dinner with my parents, now I'm at home debating baking cookies tonight.

I'm also feeling vaguely annoyed/upset/sad, which is really annoying because I have no idea why. :(

Sory anon. I've been feeling randomly irritated the past few days too. Hope that gets better for you.

Dinner with the parents sounds nice, though, and work can be nice, and those cookies will be delicious if you make them. Do it. Cookies make everything better.

Today was my Friday and I've got three days off in a row! And I'm tired, too, lol! But I've got a doobie and some basketball and s comfy couch, so I'm just fine now! :D

allright. I went out earlier and had lots of ideas but now that I'm in front of a computer my motivation, attention and inspiration is less. Why do I only have ideas and enthusiasm when I'm away from the means to write/draw.

This is dumb thing to be bothered by, but if anyone would understand, it would be people here.

I got accidentally spoiled on a show I've been watching, and found out my new OTP breaks up and then one of them dies, the other gets together with a character I dislike, and then leaves the show. I'm seriously debating not even finishing it because that sucks lol.

How does that work? Do they release actual MCU or DC content, or do you just name them after characters?

As for me—rant incoming—

I’ve been sick since Friday. I feel like my lungs are repeatedly punching me in the stomach to make me throw them up to their freedom. The skin of my throat down to just above my boobs is red and itchy. Everything hurts.

I can’t breathe through my nose and breathing through my mouth makes my esophagus feel like it’s lined with sandpaper and razorblades and makes me cough more. I’ve broken a full bottle of olive oil and dumped a mug of tea all over myself during coughing fits, but have zero energy to clean up.

Everything tastes like snot. Even with meds, I’m running a fever and nauseated four days in, and I can’t sleep for coughing. I haven’t been this sick in years and it sucks diseased hairy balls. I’ve missed work yesterday, today, and the way things are going, tomorrow, and feel guilty even though I have plenty of accumulated leave time. I know I’ll get better, and I do feel a bit better than yesterday, but in the meantime... ugh.

The idea is to find dragons that have the right color/genes that make you think of the characters. Not everyone does it. I just personally like giving my dragons character names.

And yuck. I hope you feel better soon. That sounds terrible.

Had a headache. The dvd I put on froze in one spot. Saw a cockroach.

Many small failures.

I get to go to bed now and I'm going to enjoy that.

Oh good, I'm not the only person who's fallen back into the Flight Rising pit!

No you are not. I'm currently rearranging my whole lair as well as searching for the perfect dragons. And just waiting for a couple sprites to sell so I can buy some genes I need.
