Why is it so hard to pick something to watch?

Sometimes I will spend 20 minutes trying to find a movie to watch then just end up rewatching some youtube videos.

Yeah. I do the same thing a lot, too. I usually attribute it to the fact that none of the available options satisfy what I'm actually looking for, even if I can't specifically pinpoint what's wrong with them. Usually it happens when I want something that's like... comfortable, and likable, and relaxing? And there aren't that many things that fall into that category, and a lot of them aren't on streaming.

And for some reason, Netflix hasn't acknowledged my suggestion to make new things that are exactly like the things that I like already, but new and different. It's very frustrating.

My problem is that I always end up reading reviews and reviewers can make just about anything sound like crap. So unless there's something where the premise really grabs me it takes me a while.

Yeah, I've just stopped reading reviews and go with whatever sounds interesting to me. Some of it has been crap, but there've been several things I liked that got bad reviews so I try to just ignore them now.
