it's possible to understand that that wasn't the point of that scene and still be mad that it was so badly written that that's what the dialogue said

Especially given what another Marvel branch was concurrently telling us about another Red Room agent, I 100% thought that conversation was going to involve talking about not having agency in murders that you commited, but nope. Sterility is the worst thing about being the Black Widow. Okay.

I would have LOVED to have seen a conversation between Banner and Romanoff about not having agency in the destruction you do. LOVED.
