Yes, Indian kids, who have immigrant parents with similar accents, having a bit of a giggle at the accent of an immigrant kid, from their parents' country, are totally being racist... to themselves? Right.

I don't think you know what racist means.

Their parents literally have the same accent as Apu. Their actual parents. Finding it funny that somebody has the SAME ACCENT as a cartoon character isn't racist, you pillock.

The simpsons often makes fun of different things and exaggerates it for comedic effect. Why is is only offensive when the people in question are brown? I remember that Big Book of British Smiles episode and all of the absolutely awful English accents used on the show. That's the same level we're talking about, here.
