What is everyone doing this weekend?

Saturday is for cleaning the house. Sunday I plan on taking my mom and sister out to dinner for Mother's Day.

Cleaning my room at some point. Other than that, probably Watching MCU movies. I'm predictably on a Marvel kick post-Infinity War.

I'd say have fun cleaning but it is not fun at all. :< Enjoy your MCU movies though!

Finding my mother something for both mother's day AND her birthday on Monday.

Dang, that is two celebrations too close together. Though, May for me also has a lot of celebrations (Mother's Day PLUS 4 birthdays).

Heh, compared to that I got off easy.

Thank you for unintentionally reminding me to get my grandma something for her birthday!

Going to a used book store and a garden store, and maybe to look at cars with my dad.

Oooooh, fun! Are you looking at cars to buy or just like a car show?

I’m going to try and clean house because I’ve been sick for a week and even for a slob like me I can’t take the virus-laden mess anymore. I’m still not 100% but I’m sure I’ll feel better with clean sheets and dishes and stuff.

Oh no. :( I hate when you are sick but still have to do adult things. I hope you get to 100% soon!

I actually haven’t done anything but sit and read or nap; I only take vacation time once a year and accumulate 3 hours of leave or so per every 2 weeks worked, so I took the time off. I’m glad I did, not only would I have been useless at work, it was so nasty I’d worry about landing a kid or an elderly patron in the hospital if I passed it on, since I work with the public all day.

I haven’t been this sick in decades. I lost my voice, ran a high fever, coughed so hard I puked and probably (silver lining) gained abdominal muscles, woke up soaked in cold sweat, had pounding headaches, coughed up blood... one of our volunteers is in her 80s and kids from the four schools within walking distance pile in every afternoon, not to mention the parents with toddlers.

Back when I was hourly I got yelled at by a lady who said I was endangering everyone else by working while sick, but I didn’t have a choice if I wanted to not starve, and also had no health insurance. I’m so glad for my union right now.

Oh dear. Did you got to the doctor for it?

Going to the movies with some friends tonight. Going to my favorite local cafe Sunday.

What are you going to see?

it's MST3K night at my local cool movie theater that serves food and beer. (I saw Annihilation there last week. it kicked ass.)

I'm off work tomorrow, yay! Probably going to spend the day with my husband.

Woot! Any plans or just staying at home and relaxing?

I am working Saturday and Sunday :D Finally some HOURS.

Also we have a new manager and Pam (my coworker, very sweet lady) told me that I could talk to him and get some more hours!

I might have money again! At least before we go and move out to Colorado this summer and I'm job hunting again!

Taking my mom out tomorrow for Mother's Day~ We're doing lunch and probably getting our nails done, all on my tab. :) We'd do it Sunday, but neither of us drive and Sunday buses are atrocious.

Have fun! We are just having a little get together here. I am surprised buses are busier on Sunday.

Studying, cleaning, and catching up on sleep.

I hope the first two go by quickly, and the second goes by slowly.
