imo, I'd write it because I want to see Steve as a dad. I wrote a fic where he's a single dad and I couldn't finish it because I just feel too many ways about him being a dad. He'd be so fucking cute. And good. And just...too much. I I never thought I was one of those people, but seeing certain guys in father roles (being A GOOD dad) just really does stuff for me.

Bonus: I was gonna write an OC that was Sam's cousin (she's a doctor) who he ends up with. It was gonna be super cute. His baby mama was a temporary fling (he was pretty invested tho). I wish i had finished this fic. Tony was gonna be a total pain in the ass uncle/grandpa to the kid. Nat had all the intel on his baby mama and was waiting on his word to strike, because he was rather heart broken when she left.
