All I hear is people complaining about how they're poorly conceived, overstuffed movies with stupid plots and inconsistent, often OOC writing. Why torture yourself trying to justify and make sense of it all when you could do what fans of comic books have been doing for decades?

Again, vocal minority. The films are generally well-received and have a robust fandom. Black Panther is already one of the most successful films of all time.
