[The Three Investigators]

It definitively made it better. Always makes it better, imo.

Yay for a Three Investigators secret! :D They were my favorite of the "tween/teen" detectives but everyone I've mentioned them to has never heard of them.

I've heard of them! I spent my elementary school years reading Three Investigators, Hardy Boys, and Trixie Beldon books. It makes me a little sad that only the Hardy Boys have endured.

Someone besides me has heard of Trixie Belden? Wow. I grew up reading my mom's old books, so I'm always surprised when someone else has heard of what I know is an obscure series

I loved Trixie Belden too!

::facepalm:: I can't believe I spelled her name wrong.

Anyway, I'm old enough that I had to wait for new ones to be published and was always excited when they came out.

I always wanted their secret clubhouse that was in the junkyard. Ten year old me thought that was the coolest place ever.

I don't know the fandom but on principle I'll still say better.

I used to love these books when I was a kid!

Jupiter Jones was my first book crush so my initial reaction to your secret is indignation! But I also wholeheartedly approve because any Three investigator love is excellent love. (I think I shipped Jupiter/Pete(?) at some point?)

Saw the comments further up in the thread and Trixie Beldon was also my jam as a kid. Jim was my second book crush, lol. I think I also dug Brian? But as a child I mainly just wanted to hang out in Honey's mansion with her horses, the shipping was to come later in my fandom career.
