Pizza toast: pizza sauce and cheese on toast, put under a broiler for a few seconds. The options available for this are plentiful, lol.

I do this with English muffins but most commercially available sliced bread is too soft to take the weight of sauce/cheese.

Exactly, which is why one tosststhe bread first and only broilers it long enough to bubble/brown the cheese.

- butter and a very thin spread of Marmite

- just barely toasted and dipped in olive oil and black pepper

- covered with provolone and toasted until the cheese is all bubbly

- fresh bruschetta (tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil)

- butter and honey
