Games: Deadspace, Outlast, all the Silent Hills, Resident Evil 4.

Horror generally isn't my best genre (I'm easily scared, especially by ghosts, and I'm not fond of gore), but there have been a few things here or there that I've adored.

It's debatably more thriller than horror, but I loved Picnic at Hanging Rock, just for the sheer eerieness and the lack of anything overt ever happening.

I have a deep and abiding love for the Hammer Horrors, as campy as they often are, but I freely admit that a lot of that is because Peter Cushing. Though I still think Brides of Dracula was genuinely good.

For a more modern horror movie, I really enjoyed The Conjuring. I liked the paranormal investigation aspect of it. (To jump media, it's also the reason I really enjoyed the Ghost Hunt anime, especially the Bloodstained Labyrinth arc).

I tend to like horror mixed with other genres, like Event Horizon for horror/sci-fi and Pan's Labyrinth for horror/fantasy.

I also have an attachment to Lovecraftian style horror, but I think a lot of that is as much for the 20s/30s aesthetic and somewhat sci-fi bent as for the actual substance of the genre. I also love gothic horror largely for the aesthetic (plus the aforementioned Peter Cushing). In general I think I like a lot of the trappings of horror, I'm just not that good at the emotions of horror. Because wuss.

Horror games and I get along hilariously badly, perhaps unsurprisingly.
