Just because you are eligible for disability doesn't mean you'll get disability. They're very strict about qualifications and I think they're throwing a bunch of people off of disability now or reducing their payments, trying to force them back to work.

Tell me about it. I've been trying to get on disability for years and have been rejected each time. After the first two rejections the first disability law firm representing me dropped me as a client, and while the one I'm using now definitely has more on the ball, I'm still dreading my hearing on the 24th. The first disability hearing I went to back in 2012 was a nightmare, and while I have quite a few more official diagnoses now than I did then, I still don't have a whole lot of hope for actually getting assistance.
