Weird enough? Or at least offensive to somebody?
(Anonymous) 2018-05-19 01:03 am (UTC)(link)For the longest time, I didn't get why people thought Elsa and Anna were incestuous. I kept wondering if it was the fact they used the term "true love" despite the fact that love itself doesn't have to be romantic in nature?
Then I looked up Idina Menzel. I was a huge fan of Rent, but for some reason, never realized it was Idina who played the original Maureen, who identifies as a lesbian (supposedly that's the official word despite her having bi tendencies). So now I'm just wondering if the whole Elsa/Anna thing is just wishful thinking for the reason that some people are incapable of separating an actor from a different role.
(But in reality, I'm guessing it's just that "lesbians r HAWT" regardless of relationship.)
