Er, Rose didn't tear down the walls of the universe; they were weakening because of what the Daleks were doing. That's how I read it anyway, from the dialogue at the beginning of The Stolen Earth.
"So... I just met Rose Tyler?"
"Yeah."
"But she's locked away in a parallel world."
"Exactly. If she can cross from her parallel world to your parallel world, then that means the walls of the universe are breaking down, which puts everything in danger. Everything. But how?"

That definitely doesn't imply that it's Rose breaking down the walls. Also, she didn't cross universes "because she wasn't over the Doctor," she did it because um, the universes were in danger. No offense, but maybe you should try watching the episodes a little more carefully.

Also, when did Rose ever ask the Doctor to tell her she was pretty? That doesn't even make sense...

It doesn't HAVE to make sense to a Rose-hater. She's the worst thing ever, didn't you get the memo? ::eyeroll::

But the thing they're mainly going on regarding the "tearing down the walls of the universe" is the bit in Journey's End where she tells the Doctor that they'd started working on a dimension cannon so she could get back to him in the original universe. It didn't work at first, and then it did because of the Daleks' reality bomb weakening the walls between universes. So she was basically willing to do it -- although it should be obvious that it wasn't JUST to get back to her guy, but to get to the one person who could help defeat the Darkness -- but that's a long way from her being responsible for it.

It doesn't seem to matter how carefully someone watches the episodes when they're determined to see something.

Actually, I LIKE Rose, thanks. And it's because I like her that I realize that she deserved a better ending than what she got.

Okay, so you do like Rose. Fair enough. And I definitely understand how you could be terribly disappointed with the ending she got. But it's more than understandable for anyone to conclude you were just another Rose-hater, given that you used their exact rhetoric verbatim, down to the blatant disregard of what was actually going on onscreen in the rush to blame Rose for absolutely everything bad that happened.

Guess the old definition of "Doctor Who fan"* needs to be expanded to include "Rose fan" also.







*Doctor Who fan: (n) Someone who hates Doctor Who.

Oh Jesus Christ. It's called exaggeration.

Also, "Tell me I'm pretty" = that entire ending sequence where Rose is all "what were you gonna say!?!?!?"
