I'm glad it was renewed or picked up, OP. I have watched about 5 eps and i just can't get past the utter obnoxiousness of the lead character.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I felt the same way and couldn't stand either Jake OR Gina. But Jake at least gets better, and his development arc is one of the subtler story arcs in the show.
