And this is why sorting by kudos isn't all that useful when trying to find good fics.

It's so dependent on fandoms and pairings, though, as well.

I mean, 29 Kudos is still really high for a fic like this regardless of anything else, but there's definitely a baseline where almost any fic in a big fandom will just inevitably have more kudos.
