Yeaaahh. I am not a picky reader at this point. If it has my OTP and my bulletproof kinks (or just tags I'm really into right now) and everything looks like the author has a reasonable grasp of English, I'll at least click Mark for Later. I give everything that looks interesting a like, 60/70 percent chance.

But not this. Never this. I see anything like "I suck at summaries" and the chance I'll read it plummets immediately and drastically.


I'm also annoyed, but less so, that they said this is the first chapter but they marked it as a one shot, 1/1 instead of 1/?. Did they not see the options while setting up their fic on Ao3?
