[Scene where Pocahontas and John Smith are kissing, and Thomas and Kokoum are watching from the bushes.]

Secret text:

As a kid, I felt so scandalized by this scene. There was something about it that I found so sexy, and I was too young to really understand why.

I realize now that it's for a couple reasons - with John Smith and Pocahontas being hidden away and given privacy to have that insanely passionate kiss being one of them. Especially because that kiss seemed like it would lead to a lot more.

The other reason is that, because I believed it would lead to more, Thomas and Kokoum would become voyeurs, and it kind of turned me on.

Pocahontas being drawn to have curves was also a contributor. The scene still gives me chills and makes me feel uncomfortable when anyone else is around lmao.

Secret's a little hard to read, but I just wanna say that Pocahontas/John Smith were my OTP when I as a little kid and I was pretty sad when I found out she was a real person whose life waa nothing like the Disney movie.

I haven't even seen the movie and it looks hot. It's funny what kinds of things shape our sexuality.

OP, I felt ways about Thomas and Kokoum (not together, I just thought they were hot until Thomas acted like a full on shit) and this scene was really...really. I understand. That was a really heated scene.

old time OTP and I agree, OP. There was a lot of underlying sensualism in John and Pocahontas in the movie. I remember reading somewhere that in the swimming scene John was originally drawn with no shirt but the animators hooted a bit too much watching the play through so they put his clothes back on. More's the pity.

Nah, it creeped me out as a kid because I knew Kokoum was about to lose his damn shit and there was someone with a gun present.
