Haha, sure. Anon didn't enjoy the fandom overshare from the co-worker, OP of secret 6 clearly didn't appreciate the fandom overshare from their MIL. I realize people are super invested in believing that OP is wroooooong to find their MIL's fangirling gross or unwelcome, but... OP is in fact 100% entitled to feel that way, just as anon in this thread is.

Being annoyed about TMI is not the thing that people have a problem with in secret 6. That's the thing. Why are you just... ignoring the things that people actually have a problem with?

If OP of this thread had called their co-worker a pathetic piece of shit, it would be an absolutely phenomenal comparison, but they didn't.

Oh, I agree. Most people won't even acknowledge that what the MIL did was an overshare. They seem to think that it was just normal fannish behavior and OP should just suck it up, despite not being interested in listening to it. It really boggles the mind.

Anon in this thread was very polite and patient, I agree. Hopefully her co-worker doesn't make a regular habit of this. My guess is OP is secret 6 is exposed to a LOT more since it's their MIL and perhaps OP's reserves of patience has run dry. I totally get that, even if others don't.

I get that you disagree with people about how #6 was interpreted but, first of all, you're still ignoring the parts of the secret that disagree with you, and also, more importantly, why are you bringing it up in this thread again
