Wanring for animal death
(Anonymous) 2018-05-24 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)I did not know it happened until I went home for lunch. The neighbor's kid (6yo maybe?) ran up to me to tell me I killed it and they buried it. I was not even aware they had a cat (I think it was a kitten).
I told him that I was sorry. He told me it was okay because he would get a new one. Then he ran off.

At least the kid isn't sad, but I hope he's taught by someone (probably not a parent who lets their kittens out unattended) that pet lives have value and being callous with their lives is pretty bad.
