I haven't watched it, but it aired on TNT earlier this year. That's definitely Luke Evans.

I agree, OP. When it happened I thought it was going to be a big point plot wise: thinking it was going to change his life and way of thinking towards the victims (and cheering for the fact that it happened to a man for once), but I was sorely disappointed. It could just as well never have happened at all with how little it impacted on him. It made me go from highly sympathetic to the character to very critical, as he showed about as much feeling as an automaton.
