Oh, OP :(. You absolutely deserve love and respect, and I hope you find somebody who will treat you with the kindness you're longing for. I also hope you can find a way to make your fantasies fun and pleasant again, too.

Sending hugs and support to you.

You deserve to be treated with respect, OP. This sounds like a really good reason to see a therapist if you aren't already doing so. Not because you're broken, but because it might help you identify some of the unsuccessful patterns in your life and explore the root cause of all this. I also recommend two books:

The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker
Why Does He Do That?: Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men by Lundy Bancroft

Best wishes, OP.

seconding the need to find yourself a therapist that will help you identify patterns in your life and learn how to break them, OP. You're not going to find the kind of help you need on the internet with random strangers. There are good and kind and attentive and sweet and gently loving people out there and you deserve those kinds of relationships in your life. Getting professional help will help you recognize the warning signs before you let them in and build up your self esteem.

Ouch. I’ve been there, OP, at least so far as the “even my fantasy crushes want nothing to do with me” thing, and it’s one indication that my depression’s trying to kick my ass. I’m sorry that so many of your relationships didn’t work out because people were cruel. I hope things get better for you. (hugs)

You do deserve love and respect, and it's important to remember that anybody who tells you differently, or does anything to make you feel differently, is gaslighting you, and worse. It takes a lot of courage to say what you've said, (yes, even if it's anonymously), and someone with that kind of courage is a) a strong human being, b) one who deserves all the help and support they can get — if not from friends or family, then from a caring professional. You. Are. Worthy.

I wish I could give you a hug in real life, OP. As others have suggested, it might be time to find a therapist. You deserve to be cherished and loved by real people and it's heartbreaking that your own imagination isn't allowing you to have that with fictional characters.

(((hugs)))

Echoing the general idea that you should find a good therapist, because you absolutely deserve to be loved and cherished, and you are worthy of the best in life.
