Tomorrow, my Best Beloved and I are going suit shopping for him, because our son is getting married next month, and the last time BB had a good suit was mumble-many years ago ... at least 15, I think. We're also going to look for shoes for my Mother of the Groom outfit. (This whole thing is weird for us; we got married in a friend's livingroom; he had a tux jacket from a second hand shop and I wore my mother's wedding dress, but FB and his beloved - who's a wonderful woman - want the full monty, and are paying for it themselves, since they've been living together for a few years; so, yeah, we get to dress up and do all the shit that we think is kind of weird.)

Tonight I'm making a Big-Ass Martini, and we're going to catch up on The Expanse, and binge on some anime. Monday we're going to a friend's; she's be grilling dead animals and fish. In between, maybe some grilling around here, and lots more anime. Possibly more martinis.

Thanks - my fingers are crossed for running across the perfect suit. (My BB sold suits for a short time in his long-ago youth, so he's quite exacting, the point where I more than occasionally roll my eyes at his rants about the right number of jacket buttons, and awkwardly designed lapels.)
