I'd been looking for a certain nail polish shade for a few weeks. It's made by Sally Hansen, so it's a drugstore brand and not hard to find, but I looked in two different Ulta stores, a CVS, a Walgreen's, and a Target, and it was sold out everywhere. Today I went into another CVS, and they had it in stock, but in person the color was not what I was expecting and I was very disappointed in it. For anyone curious, it's Sally Hansen Color Therapy nail polish in Therapewter (and I didn't like it because it was greenish-silver rather than pewter in color).

I'd been hearing about the movie Blowup for years and it wasn't anywhere near as awesome as I'd heard; I watched it last night and was mostly bored.

I've been re-watching Black Sails, and Eleanor's entire character honestly disappoints me so much. I really wanted to root for her. I love the idea of a ruthless women willing to do anything to achieve her goal of ruling Nassau, but... but. I don't know if it's her actress not being as strong as some of the others, but I just could never really... buy it? She talked tough, without ever actually being able to back up anything she was saying? Then her taste in men was wholly atrocious (I rooted her on every time she manipulated Vane, and I kept thinking she was using Woodes in S4, but.. she wasn't? She genuinely loved him? WTF, Eleanor, get some actual taste). Then she gets a sweet moment with her sister-figure-person, right before she up & dies.

I mean, at least I still have Max, Madi, Anne and Idelle (come to think of it, I think I saw the Elizabeth secret and subconsciously just wanted to point out a pirate show with amazing women in it).

I went to see an open house today, but it turned out not to have off-street parking or any way to create off-street parking (which explains why it hasn't sold yet, since street parking in this city comes with a lot of restrictions and problems). Google maps had directed me to the very similar-looking house next door, which does have parking, but it was the wrong house. I wouldn't have bothered going if I'd known the situation.

Like another person in this thread, went to a house inspection. It was not what was advertised. They said that downstairs had a bathroom, a bedroom, and a living area. It was a storage space that stunk and it reminded me a bit of a haunted house maze. Everything was so dark and cramped and the bathroom was just a toilet you had to go outside to access. Ugh.

I'm going to need witchcraft to find a place I can afford that doesn't completely suck and make my asthma worse.

The Handmaid's Tale season 2 is nowhere near as good as season 1. I'm considering giving it up. What's the point of watching something that depressing if it isn't as amazing as season 1?
