Because biographical documentary-making is such a money grab? Because the makers couldn't genuinely care about their subject? I'm pretty sure Mr. Rogers would be okay with people making money from doing work they are passionate about (and it is work). You could always wait until it makes it's way to TV - I'm sure that PBS will show it at some point, maybe during a telethon.
