FTR I didn't much like TotalBiscuit. He did and said some shitty things. I'm fine with people not being sad about his death. I'm fine with them being glad he's no longer saying and doing shitty things. So the first part of the secret is fine by me.

The second part is the "whoa ok, hold on there OP" territory. There's a line between "reading an obituary with relish" as they say, and projecting onto their living family + celebrating a death + hoping for another one.

I hope you were just exaggerating for attention, but I worry you weren't.

Yeah, I'm a cancer survivor and honestly I'm not bothered that this asshole is dead. But that's not the same as wishing cancer on people and expecting his loved ones to be happy he's gone.

IKR? It sounds like "Yo, stop grieving for your husband and go pick someone else quickly! Go! Go!", except grief doesn't work like that!
