Actually, Sukisho is one of my favorite series. The feminine art style obviously isn't for everyone, but it certainly didn't detract any enjoyment I received from watching it. The acting was very good and it has superb pacing for a rather short (13 episode) series. Why all the hate? ;~;

I never post, but I just had to chime in.

Those books DID rock so much more than Harry Potter. They were great! I mean, Harry Potter is fun and all, and I totally liked the 1st three in the series (after the fourth... I think she ran out of steam or something. :/ ). I always thought of the Harry Potter series as like, a gateway book for kids. You read those and then you move on to better books. Although, I have a feeling my theory isn't embraced by many. :(

Never played the games, hadn't known much of anything about the fandom other than what I've seen here in f!s up until then... which, okay, now the circumstances are different and I'm going to try them.

That is if I can get over the queasy feeling in my gut whenever that guy shows up. :/

106: Sukisyo in anime form <<<< Sukisyo in game form. There are shirtless scenes of both "him"s in each. They're both guys and they're both voiced by guys. Sure, they're feminine, but they're the uke characters who are often perceived in such a way.

My father is a high-ranked employee for BOTH companies (despite running his own business and doing other mortgage work as well), and.... just thinking of the idea makes me giggle. The two companies are so closely affiliated that I honestly couldn't see them as anything more than brother and sister (using your "personified" terms).

175. Ever think that people ship it BECAUSE it's so fucked up? There are some pairings I ship and I know that they are in no way healthy. I like a ship for its dynamic between the characters, whether it's good or bad. Just because someone ships something, it doesn't mean they think it's perfect true love.

Speaking as someone who mostly only watches anime made in the 70s and 80s with very few exceptions - just because there's a new version of something, it doesn't automatically make it inferior. I wish someone would remake the original Gundam series, in fact, I prefer the much more recent Gundam: The Origin manga to the original tv show.

106. As ashamed as I am to admit to having watched it, I have to say I kind of agree. Nanami, especially, was so girly that with the sound turned off you'd never be able to tell that s/he wasn't female. I admit I did kind of like Nanami and Shinichirou (more than I liked the leads, anyway), but I would've liked them better if the show had just admitted that Nanami was a girl.
