I live in a city and walk a TON. As in, at least two miles every day, plus rushing on subways and buses, etc. I also have a desk job where I need to look presentable. I don't want to have to switch shoes at my desk, but I really want shoes that are built for walking but still cute/professional.

Plus I have pretty flat and wide feet and need some arch support. Anyone know any good brands? I like Naturalizer, for reference, but my pair of cute, professional/evening appropriate sandals from them are finally wearing out. What I'd give for another pair that has a good solid base that isn't too thin or hard.

I missed the cute shoes part. Was going to recommend my Basics gel-contends. I do change shoes at work because I wear the sneakers whenever I can.

I would actually recommend shoe inserts. I have to wear them for my high arches, but they have ones for flat feet as well. That would allow you a wider range of shoe options. And they come in different lengths- half, three quarter, and full length, so you can find ones that fit different shoes.

Try Superfeet insoles, specifically the Green or Blue ones (they also have a wide version of the Green, but it's meant for 3E–6E width, so it may be a little too wide for you).
