Unfortunately, I think there's some kind of curse that prevents anyone from ever making a good FF movie.

Nah, Disney made a movie about a talking raccon and tree amazing. Hell, they made ANT-MAN amazing. He talks to ants. That is silly as hell.

yeah, I'm sure there's a way to do it but all the productions so far have been so snakebit

it does seem like it's somewhat challenging to adapt - it's so tied to the origin story, which is extremely 1960s science fiction
