This. I can forgive inaccuracies in fic that don't really impact the story heavily. Like, I would probably wouldn't even back button someone being in a coma for six years and then getting up and walking around perfectly after waking up unless there was something supernatural involved because most people just aren't educated on that kind of shit and it's not ruining the story.

I find I'm more easily annoyed when canon does it though, especially medical canon who make flubs they could have researched in like 2 seconds.

OMG yes. Especially those shows that are all "We have a doctor as a consultant!!" self-congratulatory interviews. You have a doc but he's an idiot or you are NOT LISTENING to him!
