I figure the "giantness" is less about the actor, more about how the writer hopes that dick is. I for one wouldn't want the actor reading my fantasizing about how amazing the dick is. It has less to do with him and more to do with how I want to feel and the idealized version of the man/character he is playing. He has all these characteristics that have me smitten AND he has a wonder penis?! Thus character really is the best!! At least that's how I see it. lol.
