102 I feel this is what fandom secrets is all about.

118 Me too, but sadly W really doesn't.

122 When the Kerry/Edwards turned into hate sex? Or that spate of Obama/Edwards after the endorsement that was all about bad memories of Kerry and wanting it to be different this time? Yeah, that's the shit, for reals.

132 I know what you mean, but she was so stifled once they moved to LA. I think that in a way they still are together, as she will never commit to another man. Smith will always be The One.

140 Seriously, why do you care? Like, they dig different things, you know? Maybe they "get it" but that isn't what they're looking for?

142 I'm going to say it: I hate anon fic memes, especially anon kink memes. It fills fandoms with nothing but short heavy kink crackfic and that isn't really what I want to read, never mind that it never seems to have anything to do with the actual characters, but is more "insert names into pre-existing scenario". I wish you could have a meme for like, kissfic or something.

152 I felt his death was the beginning of the end of that canon for me; it was the first of, sadly, many really wrong turns.

154 And I'll be lol'ing at you when he wins. Because he is awesome, and McCain is so eight years ago.

163 I guess your English teacher was a troll, because his sentence doesn't even scan as good grammar.

165 Yeah, I get stuck on your inconsistency. It's okay to ask a twelve year old to have power over the life and death of many people, and to save his planet, but not to make other life decisions? That said, yeah, I wish he'd been 14, but blame that on Nick.

169 You rule me.

171 That's really awesome! I learned about the impressionist painters in 8th grade because Renoir was mentioned in a Duran Duran song.

177 Joss appears to be an on or off sort of guy. He either hits sweet spots you didn't even know you possessed, or he's like nails on a chalkboard. (For me, it's the latter. I find him talented but a little too in love with himself, and therefore he's getting repetitive.)

180 Um, is this also true for shows where the "hero" is a woman, like Buffy or Veronica Mars or Gilmore Girls? Or are you just a misogynist who thinks that all female characters that have agency are by definition sues? Either you're a troll, a misogynist, or you are narrow in your canon selections. The people I know who "just don't like" most female characters "just like" canons that are very male oriented, where the female characters are an afterthought or an obvious love interest. But there are plenty that aren't.
