101. I do almost the same thing for most of the characters I write, so I know the feeling.

130. OMG ME TOO. I love me some slash, but my interest in the smut is...sporadic and generally lukewarm. I love watching two men get closer to one another; I love watching a relationship bloom. I wish there was more of that in fic and less Generic Male A fucking Generic Male B.

140. I liked the unresolved endings in the first few seasons, and I agree that they're much more meaningful than a tidy conclusion with every loose end tied up, but on occasion it feels like the ending was cut off too quickly or sledgehammered in For Drama, and that I don't like.

145. If someone doesn't produce freaky nonlinear Doctor Manhattan/Silk Spectre porn within a few months of the movie's release I will be sorely disappointed in the internet. :D Really, I can't say I'm looking forward to all the stupid that's bound to come flooding in once the movie opens, but it'll be good for a laugh if nothing else. And some of the resultant fic might even be good!

Not!Secret 1: I think we should be friends. :D Jo doesn't get the love she deserves, for serious.

People always go all "JO WAS SUCH A SCREAMER!!1!!" and I always point out that she just did that when the Doctor was around so he'd feel useful. When she was on her own, she was telling off the Master, disarming armed guards, and inciting prison riots. XD

I know! I don't know why she always gets it in the neck every time the "Classic companions were useless" trope rears its ugly head; she didn't scream that much, and I can't think of a story where she didn't save the Doctor's life, talk smack to someone who could have her killed, or just do something so incredibly gutsy that I fall for her all over again.
