Has it slowed?

I was curious because I read a lot in the Teen Wolf fandom and I hadn't noticed it slowing down all that much, so I looked at how many fics were posted/updated on AO3 in the last week versus August 22-29, 2017 (41 weeks ago, solidly in the middle of the final part of the final season). It was 388 for this last week and 205 for last August. Now, some fics that were updated/posted in that August timeframe would have updated between now and then moving them out of the search, but it doesn't look like it's slowed to me. But there is some more variety.

There was variety before but in order to get eyeballs on it you had to include the holy Sterek. Some of the best fic is hidden under the pile because there was no mention of the ship and it was unfortunate enough to be written and released when sterek was king. Allison/Peter. Allison/Deucalion. Hell, even Greenberg/Finstock. If you venture back far enough there's some good shit.
