there were a couple of songs in the 90s that had "for I" instead of "for me" in the lyrics and that always bugged me

I think I'd be cool with it if the song worked for me, but it just sounds like they're trying too hard to be edgy, so the whole "him and I ride or die" posturing annoys me.

I haven't heard the song (maybe I have?) but the imagery looks kinda try-hard. I don't know why. I mean, it's pretty, but it kinda makes me roll my eyes. I also think G-easy is sounds corny. But that's my opinion.

Everything about this song annoys me, not just the awful grammar. Though the awful grammar is the #1 thing that annoys me so. . .

I like Do Re Mi from The Sound of Music, but in the middle there's some dialogue after Maria teaches the children the notes. One of the kids says it doesn't mean anything and Maria says you replace the notes "one word for every note". This drives me up the damn wall, since it's one syllable, not one word. It's especially bad since one of the lyrics that gets sung next is "you can sing most anything" with the word 'anything' being sung with three different notes. Actual songwriters worked on the production and still somehow that piece of dialogue made it in. And it annoys me so much. So, I get it.
