any adult writing a sexual scene with a teen (even a fake one) means that they are thinking about a teen (even a fake one) in a sexual way. to me it means they never fully matured mentally after high school and that's kind of sad, but also gross.

I'm not sure what you think I misinterpreted here? Anon I replied to very clearly said that they think that any adult writing a sexual scene involving a teen EVEN A FAKE ONE which is what characters are, is immature and weird and gross. Ergo, authors who write young adult fiction where teens do sexual things (fake teens), are immature and weird and gross because they are OBVIOUSLY thinking about those characters in a sexual manner, which is a stupid fucking leap.
