I suppose I should've expected that ending because Rule of Drama.

I only ever played the first one so all that looks crazy to me.

You're going to need all of the games except maybe Union X. None of them were ever optional if you wanted to understand the story.

I mean, it's contextless as all fuck so I'm entirely expecting a bigger twist to it and us taking it at face value being exactly what Nomura wants so we're surprised at what's actually going on.

I feel like it's a DMC game tho, and I'm wondering why the fuck someone ripped off Nero's arm. But it seems to subsist off of Rule of Cool again instead of "let's go fully Edgy McEdgerson" and rip on Fiend from FFXIV except taken 100% serious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdV_bzJgRxE

It looks like it's trying to be just silly and fun again, which is what I think a lot of people liked about DMC over DmC.
