LF book recs for a 5yo!

[personal profile] kaijinscendre 2018-06-11 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
My 5yo nephew is going to be a big brother soon. I am looking for some age appropriate books that talk about becoming a big brother and where babies come from. Bonus if it covers C-sections!

I'd also like some books that can introduce him to various social issues. Such as LGBT awareness, disabilities, people who are different, etc. He can read pretty well on his own already.

I Am Jazz is a good book that explains being transgender. My wife read it to some kids at our local library and answered some questions and the kids (and their parents) seemed to understand pretty well.
