Following authors on twitter is a bit of a crap shoot? Like, there seem to be 2 or 3 types. The ones who spam constantly. (These tend to lean towards the self-published/indie crowd.) Those who constantly tweet and retweet positive affirmation phrases (also a lot of the indie/self-pub crowd.) And those who are more talking about their lives, pets, interesting hobbies/loves, and occasionally go off when something exciting happens. Like Seanan when she could finally announce OMG she wrote an X-Men comic. (I really thought about muting her for a bit until the shiny wore off.)

So, choose carefully and check their feeds to see what type of "author" tweeter they are. If my life was more exciting, I'd probably tweet more? But err... yeah. -Mutters-

If my life was more exciting, I'd probably tweet a lot less

I suppose the secret poster could be also looking for authors, but the secret says actors. Though some of those are probably not all that great either.

Oh dear. Yeah, my head is hurting tonight and I saw the "a" and filled in the blank. Oops.

No idea on actors. None.

I think it's a pretty natural mistake. But now I'm wondering if just being in a prominent sci-fi role (ex. Nathan Fillion, Firefly) would make someone a sci-fi actor or if they would have to be predominantly known for sci-fi roles (Mark Hamill) to be considered such.
