Except the thread isn't someone going "Martin Freeman is annoying" and someone else replying "YEAH WELL CHADWICK BOSEMAN DID THIS HORRIBLE THING SO WHY ARE YOU LETTING HIM OFF THE HOOK HUH!?!??!111"

This is a thread where someone brought up Freeman's misbehavior as a reason to dislike him, and someone else brought up Boseman's misbehavior as a response. If you think that a celebrity doing something problematic is a gotcha, you can't pick and choose who gets shunned for doing fucked up things.

It seems to me that this is actually exactly what happened? From my point of view, at least. And they also implied that people only disliked Freeman because he was white / let Boseman off the hook because he was black, which is another fun thing.

??? All I'm saying is that to say this is a thread about finding Freeman annoying is incorrect. It's about offenses graver than just being annoying.

It’s related. The post is about taking issue with Freeman being in the film because of his past actions when the lead of said film is a rapist supporter.
