On one level, he's just incredibly annoying. Very pretentious without actually knowing what he's talking about. Thinks that everything he touches is a ground-breaking work of staggering genius that no one has ever thought of before even if it's entirely unoriginal, that kind of thing. IIRC, he complained a lot about Bright being changed a lot from his original script and threw the director under the bus.

Also, there's been a ton of rumors and stuff about sexual misconduct and general massive personal dickishness, but nothing totally concrete AFAIK.

It doesn't help that he's the son of John Landis, so he tends to get hit with a lot of flak about getting to where he is due to his connections/privilege rather than actual talent.

And he said Bright could be his Star Wars which...wut.
