Wanting to listen to a song but not knowing the title, the singer, or enough of the words to be able to type into google or youtube to find it.

Oh god, this. There was a song on the radio that I loved, but I was never able to hear the band's name and, because of static, I couldn't make out all of the lyrics. Took me two months to hear enough of the song to google it and I listened to it for a week straight.

This happened to me this weekend, me and the bf were driving to get groceries and there was a song I liked on the radio but I didn't hear the singer/band name and couldn't remember enough of the lyrics by the time we got home.

I think it might have been a cover? But I've got no clue and I really want to listen to it again.

This also happened on Spotify several months back where a random song came on after my playlist and I really liked it but failed to catch the name of the song before it was over(because I was happy jamming to it).

Two MONTHS?! Hah... lucky bastard.

Took me like 10 years to find this one song... well, I guess I wasn't trying very hard, but every now and then I'd hear it and go "WHAT IS THAT" and then forget about it after a few minutes.

it's been over ten years, and there's still a song or two that I won't ever know...
