Oh god, I remember that era.

Snapewives were A Thing, and when they weren't Snapewives, they were "SeverusMoms". Not joking.

And boy, did they looooooove reading so far in between the lines of canon they weren't even bothering with canon anymore, as long as their best friend ~Severus~ got to be the hero and save the day. I remember them pissing and moaning and whining when he wasn't the knight in shining armor in Deathly Hallows swooping in to save that ungrateful brat Harry Potter.
