(Anonymous) 2018-06-20 03:17 am (UTC)(link)As for "it's not modern times", that seems an odd argument when these days films are in color AND high definition and later available for streaming to your own home or mobile device. You're certainly not arguing that we should be watching black and white silent films only, so obviously you, too, are in favor of selective modernization.

(Anonymous) 2018-06-20 04:21 am (UTC)(link)My assumption would be that your point is about historical accuracy, which (if that's the case, and I know that it's just an assumption) it seems weird to demand that from Beauty & The Beast - not that historical accuracy is a bad thing, or racist or chauvinist, just that it doesn't seem important for the genre - but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
