(Anonymous) 2018-06-23 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)I don't have a problem with non-lethal playthoughs at all, I think they're really cool. The things that bother me are if the game narratively rewards you (and/or punishes you) for choosing a non-lethal playthrough (without explicitly making that the point of the game).
So, like, for instance - if the game consistently gives you good or bad endings based on whether you choose lethal or non-lethal options, and ultimately narratively screws you over for choosing one over the other. And it's even more pronounced if the non-lethal playthrough is significantly harder to do.
