I have yet to imagine an ending that I would find satisfying. Maybe the birth of a medieval democracy and an AU timeline where peasant uprisings weren't crushed by pitting them against the bourgeoisie and capitalism was never invented.

Well, here we have the dragons, so I'd be quite happy for them to get sick of the whole thing and fry the nobility AND the ice zombies, averting the long winter, and the peasants get a nice break from war and some more predictable seasons. The Brotherhood people can go keep order.
