omg this is it. I could never articulate WHY I hated the LOTR sets aside from the Shire but this is it.

well, from the stills I've seen Edoras looked sufficiently lived in but almost too much so, like "yo ho here be thar Norse/Scots rambling village" and not the chief city of a fairly strong kingdom. but I never bothered to see anything past Fellowship so I can only really talk out my ass.
