(Anonymous) 2018-06-29 01:11 am (UTC)(link)He was in the wrong a fair few times, imo. The Shrieking Shack, leaving Harry with the Dursleys, the first year House Cup, his last gambit with Snape having pretty much no failsafes whatsoever. He's a pretty decent general, especially for a shadow war, and he's trying to get the best outcome possible, but he's honestly NOT the best teacher or someone I would trust with children. Or adults, a lot of the time. For someone who's so widely respected he seems to have surprisingly little ability to properly judge social situations and consequences.
