What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to be playing Sea of Thieves. Hopefully I can finally sink another boat. I may also make cracker crack for work. Other than that, just boring stuff.

I work for a small business that's going on vacation all next month so no work for a month :/ It was a nice time to catch up on books and get paid.

Plus side is, sleeping in and having free weekends for a time. I miss going to the beach.

Dang that sucks. How often do they go on vacation like that? Do you have money saved up?

It's for a month and luckily I have just enough to pay most of my credit card back.

HOPEFULLY I'll have a real job by the time they return and I can leave and make actual money.

Seeing Avengers 3 again tomorrow. Other than that, no plans. Lots of sleep, hopefully. And watching some true crime because that's what I'm in the mood for right now.

Going to a Reptile convention to keep my brother from buying a snake. (Nothing against snakes personally but mom will never let us in her house with one).

Going to another “JFC get these kids back to their parents and grant them asylum for all the shit you put them through” protest tomorrow, maybe do some laundry later. Gotta make a sign tonight, not sure what to put on it, and the Staples by my house was out of posterboard.

I hope that means I’ll have lots of company—last Saturday’s protest was only a couple thousand people. I work Sunday and then usher The Tempest. I love Shakespeare but since most productions are so long, getting up at 6 Monday morning for work is a drag.

Depending on where you are, a couple thousand might be good. I live in a rural shit hole that are mostly Republican assholes.

There’s just under 1.4 million people here with maybe another million plus in the surrounding county. It’s pretty sprawling but we’re near the US/Mexican border and there’s an ICE detention facility here. :-/ And there’s lots of Republicans but also lots of Mexican immigrants and Latinx people in general.

Jazz festival Saturday, art fair Sunday. :)

Sorting laundry and taking some old clothes to a charity shop, so nothing much and outside of that playing some WoW.

It's my birthday, and the first one where I'm going to be alone (family's in a different country and none of my friends are in town). So I'm going to be treating myself to a nice lunch and going to see Deadpool 2, having a nice day by myself.

i finally have a weekend with no sunday shift.
saturday evening is a work party / summer festival kind of thing (we always do it in the summer instead of a christmas party, bc everyone is bisy and stressed around christmas).

it'll be nearly a hunrdred people so my social anxiety is going nuts already.
but. free food. free booze.
