That’s not fair and I’ve had my utilities turned off and lived on lentils. A lot of my personal depression is situational, and I’m jealous of super-wealthy people, but for someone with depression, anything can become a cudgel for them to beat themselves up with, almost certainly including “I’m famous and so rich I could wipe my ass with $100s and I still feel like shit, I should just kill myself for being a massive ingrate.” Not being able to stop being depressed on command is just another thing to castigate themselves with.
